Ya know... the more and more I read the news, I wonder about stuff... which I know... is a dangerous thing... but really... I find it nice that once in a while, I can escape what I consider the horrors of reality through Harry Potter... I know it seems trivial or that I am trivializing the importance of the news and actions of the world, but really... I can't help it... call me a dork, nerd, whatever... but I love being pulled so completely into another world, and I pity anyone else that is unable to do so.
And, speaking of Harry Potter... my copy of Harry Potter: the Order of the Pheonix arrived on the 21st... and I went to work, and when I came back, i started reading it around 8pm... and didn't stop reading 'til 8 or 9 am the next morning... And I know it's a habit of mine to finish a book all at once (unless they are school related) but I really really liked it! And in a way, thought it was nicely packaged and all, I wish it was longer. I can't wait for the 6th one already. I wish sometimes that I didn't start reading the books until all of them had come out... so I wouldn't have to wait so much... but really... I love the book! It's exciting, and really... I kind of start to remember why I love reading, period. But, in all honesty, I have never been so capitvated by "a" book before, or a group of characters so colorfully depicted in the Harry Potter series... on another note, I went to sleep after finish reading it -- around 9am... haha... and guess what... I had a dream about being part of the fantastical scene near the end... how wonderful... :D ... Anyways, if you haven't figured it out yet, I loved the fifth book... and can't wait for the sixth one... yes... I AM the biggest dork... but you know what... I can't help it!... haha... I am going to read it again tomorrow... I think it's weird-wonderful-freaky-awesome how the characters have become almost real to me...
I don't know, Harry Potter, though it is deemed to be a kids' book, seems to have valuable lessons in them for everyone, both children and adults, if you can deduce those from the books...

So... today... I went to Century so I could finish up the paperwork for AMC... then they tell me that I am supposed to stay for orientation -- paid orientation.... haha... so the orientation was just basic stuff about harrassment policies and cleanliness crap... hahah... well... all I know is... I am making $7.50/hr with Ms. T.. and $6.75/hr... hahah... well... I'm just glad I'm keepin busy this summer.... hahah... yes... well I don't mind that the theater hours don't seem to be a lot.. because... I will be working with Ms.T then... AND... I get free movies... and on Thursday nights... @11pm... I get to watch a pre-screening for upcoming movies :D... how GREAT is that... I know the pay's min... but really... MUHAHAHAHAH... watching all those movies... makes me a very happy gal...

Trying to make some little changes in the template... oh! the joys of exploring color codes!! Well... so far... I've added simple changes... new section on the side bar, the second description.... colors... and such... feel free to give me any kind of advise and input.... even insults will be welcomed... :P So... I'm thinking about going into criminology... any thoughts?

So... this... is another blog... Don't ask me why I made another one when I can barely maken entries in the other one... I think I'm going to start the new year on this one... making the other one mostly last school year...
